A simple form inspired by the Shaker tradition, but with wild details. Solid through tenon construction insures a very sturdy structure. This cutie is an example of uninhibited detail work: several hand chiseled inlays, a tiny bit of charred live edge, a reinforced exposed crack, rounded seat, and turned legs. 

This piece was made with walnut that was milled on our land, and air dried in our shop. The seat, legs, and inlays are made from a single slab of Indiana Black Walnut.
